The founder of RSI experienced exterior hotel
renovation and thought, "There has to be a better way to do this!" The
process was archaic, fragmented, time consuming and too expensive.
Often an architect or designer makes a beautiful plan,
but it is unrealistic in terms of cost.
The project is bid and comes in many tens of thousands
of dollars above the expectation of the owner. Owners, architects and
contractors are very frustrated, having wasted a great deal of time and
expense for a concept that simply will not work and does not fit the
necessary parameters
Additionally " unseen problems" not in the original
building blueprints cause problems, resulting in coordination problems, work
stoppage; redesign delays, contractor delays and cost overruns for the owner
in terms of dollars and time delayed lost income room rentals.
Finally, franchiser's who own the brand or "flag" have
specific standards that have to be met.
If Someone Was
Familiar With the Hospitality Business They Would Know:
§
What makes sense in terms of a
budget for a given site.
§ What
designs attract customers with "curb appeal".
§ What
are requirements of the franchisers.
§ How
to develop efficient systems for design and
construction.
§ More
of the "hidden problems that pop up.
§ How
to save time so you can return to room rentals again.
§ How
to be sensitive to hotel guests.
§ How
to give you a rendering of what your building will look
like.
§ How
to save owner's money, time and peace of mind.
